Dogs are welcome in tent and RV sites at no additional charge. 

 

Dogs are allowed in cabins with the following restrictions.  Please read the pet policy and rules very carefully as they will be strictly enforced! 

• Dogs 40 lbs and under are allowed in our cabins with a limit of 2 dogs.

• A pet fee of $25.00 per dog, per night plus tax will be assessed at check-in.  This is a fee and is non refundable.

• Cats and other pets are NOT allowed in our cabins. 

• Dogs over 40 lbs are NOT allowed in our cabins.  Please do not bring dogs over 40 lbs if you are staying in a cabin as you will be asked to board your dog or you will be asked to leave without a refund and will be charged for your entire booked stay.

Please be aware of the following pet rules:

• Pets must be kept on a leash and under the owner's control all times.  No leashes or tie up ropes longer than 8 feet.

• Barking dogs will not be tolerated at any time.

• Pets are NOT to be left unattended unless they are inside your RV or in a kennel inside a cabin or tent AND do not bark.  Please be aware that if your pet is left unattended and is disruptive you will be called to return to the campground immediately.  Failure to return and take care of the situation could result in you being asked to leave WITHOUT a refund. 

• Owners MUST clean up after their pets.  Plastic bags are available in the store free of charge.  If we have to clean up after your pet you will be charged a $25.00 clean up fee.

• Only dogs are allowed inside cabins and are limited to 2.  A pet fee of $25.00 per dog, per night plus tax will be charged for dogs in cabins.  In addition, a minimum fee of $250.00 can be assessed for damages or excessive cleaning.  Pets in RV & tents sites are free of charge.

• Pets are NOT allowed inside the swimming pool fence, store, shower house or toilet trailer.  

• Owners are responsible for their pets at all times and are responsible for any damages they may cause.  

 

Please be aware that dogs are not permitted at Mt. Rushmore National Memorial and many other facilities in the Black Hills.  There are boarding facilities in Hermosa and Rapid City if you need to leave your pet for the day.
